Saintsbury Carneros Chardonnay 2005
The 2005 Chardonnay unites brilliant flavors with just the right structure and palate-feel. The flavors are classic citrus and pear - concentrated and focused nicely in the mid-palate. It has terrific length, is fully flavored, and finishes crisply. Wine Enthusiast This is a pretty good Chard; the grapes come partially from the Upper Barn vineyard, but it’s all mountain-grown, showing concentrated pear, pineapple and peach flavors, with a rich, tobacco herbaceousness.
